On this blog, I’m sharing my favorite hikes, nerdy facts, top tips, and lessons learned, so you can get inspired, entertained, and maybe even save yourself some research for your next outdoor adventure.
But first: who’s behind all this?
Hey, I’m Hannah, always on the hunt for the next adventure—usually outdoors, preferably uphill (downhill? Not so much 👀).
🏡 I grew up in northern Germany, where the highest “mountain” was basically a highway bridge. I discovered my love for real mountains a little later in life, but when I did, it hit hard.
🍁 After living in different places and traveling the world, I packed my bags and moved to Canada, the land of turquoise rivers, crystal-clear lakes, freezing winters, and endless outdoor opportunities (and some seriously cool snack spots, too).
🏔️ Mountains are my creativity booster, my therapy, and my meditation all in one. I love solo hiking and soaking in the silence, but I’m just as happy sharing the trail with others or introducing newbies to the outdoors.
🤓 My inner nerd thrives on fun science facts about nature, and somewhere along the way, I became that “bush lady” who can spend hours just watching wildlife.
🎒 There’s nothing better than packing my backpack at sunrise, lacing up my hiking boots, and hitting the trail. Usually I'm planning my next hike before I’ve even finished the current one.
📸 When I’m not out on the trails, I create content about travel, adventure, and the great outdoors, or work with brands in communication & marketing.
✍️ I love putting my experiences into words. Whether it’s to inspire, share insider tips, or highlight the best spots in Canada. Deep down, I hope that the more people appreciate nature’s beauty, the more they’ll want to protect it.
