Hi, I'm Hannah, a German potato who traded the corporate hamster wheel for a camera and hiking boots. I'm a photographer and brand marketing specialist based in Calgary, working with people, brands, and small businesses throughout Banff, Canmore, and beyond. I believe the best work starts with genuine connections, fun, a bit of humour and a love for the outdoors.
So whether you're looking for a photographer to capture special moments or a marketing nerd help grow your brand, you're in the right place.
what are you looking for?

![I thought no way its possible to squeeze all this into one day, but we did, and it didn‘t even feel rushed 😍
Usually, I’m the person who spends hours on a trail or happily sits at one spot way longer than necessary 😂 So it was actually pretty cool to do this differently for once: not drive myself, not worry about parking, and simply get to take in the beauty of those 4 iconic spots in the rockies.
[ad] the tour is called the Big 3 Sightseeing Tour, because it takes you to three of the Rockies’ most turquoise lakes. But I mean… technically it’s a Big 4, because you also get to stop at the absolutely massive Takakkaw Falls 👀😊
I’ve been on a few trips with Big Nature by now, and I genuinely never get tired of saying how great this local tour company is. These guys know their backyard VERY well, and I love that the experience isn’t just about ticking off pretty viewpoints. You actually learn a ton about the area, its history, wildlife and everything you’re seeing along the way. The only „downside“, if you wanna call it that, is: not not enough time in each spot, because there is never enough time to soak it all in 😍
and by the way, even if you’re a local, I swear you’ll learn something new with these guys 😊
The season is slowly coming to an end, but there’s always next year ☺️ If you’re planning to finally visit these spots next year, you can save 10% on your booking with the code HANNAH10 💛](https://instagram.ftlv23-1.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t51.82787-15/810867736_18624680377019981_6754233967875092598_n.jpg?stp=dst-jpg_e35_tt6&_nc_cat=100&_nc_map=urlgen_bucketless&ccb=7-5&_nc_sid=18de74&efg=eyJlZmdfdGFnIjoiQ0FST1VTRUxfSVRFTS5iZXN0X2ltYWdlX3VybGdlbi5DMyJ9&_nc_ohc=05be6_0AgX4Q7kNvwFg0SWx&_nc_oc=AdqhL4npAUqL-50tBhxgweIISJNnfYbPXPTxZVUqIAHsuLOfIbqCA5X0VgJ_LXElN6Q&_nc_zt=23&_nc_ht=instagram.ftlv23-1.fna&edm=ANo9K5cEAAAA&_nc_gid=mi8dkPMKsWi_wG-evdas5Q&_nc_tpa=Q5bMBQK7hotRfTJryrxn2Ttvq0TX2ROuZJb7tylffL44YRRW2K07xZiFjUXDlinkAceZ_GR-qe6e07tf&oh=00_AQI5RguRCEnfOEliR_HhhzYyERpvgBxgu-9vrE686UmR9w&oe=6AB02543)

![a day for the jam jar🫙🥹
In Germany, we have this lovely little expression: Marmeladenglas-Momente, which translates to “jam jar moments”
The idea is that you collect those little moments that are too beautiful, funny or special to forget and put them in an imaginary jam jar to keep for later ☺️
And this day with @bignature.adventures definitely gave me a few that deserve a spot in my jar. From all the views, experiencing the unreal landscape, the stories our Guide told us about the place, allll the little details, conversations, the pikas, and simply being out there with a bunch of wonderful people gave me a loooot of jam to fill my jar 🥰
Definitely one of those days I’ll want to open the jar for again someday 🫙😍

[ad] By the way, if you always wanted to go to Lake O’Hara and never got lucky with shuttle tickets, you may want to have a look at the guided hike with @bignature.adventures for 2027. Bookings are not open yet but you can add your name to the waitlist ☺️](https://instagram.ftlv23-1.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t51.82787-15/775995731_18614693563019981_8811938927671131624_n.jpg?stp=dst-jpg_e35_tt6&_nc_cat=103&_nc_map=urlgen_bucketless&ccb=7-5&_nc_sid=18de74&efg=eyJlZmdfdGFnIjoiQ0FST1VTRUxfSVRFTS5iZXN0X2ltYWdlX3VybGdlbi5DMyJ9&_nc_ohc=kTY55DRLTKsQ7kNvwHBzDMQ&_nc_oc=AdpesKhoM4-MB4_XsTFKf4eKxeT0aHef2SMFmzOtzkVcM4lZvLWRN2tkYZH6eV5vqEY&_nc_zt=23&_nc_ht=instagram.ftlv23-1.fna&edm=ANo9K5cEAAAA&_nc_gid=mi8dkPMKsWi_wG-evdas5Q&_nc_tpa=Q5bMBQLQHoGFozI70PhFlK0MbsYGQa5jDIOjY5lB382ND1hyxsjb3OFmJoDZV1eYZ7tJwc2cW-BsCOlA&oh=00_AQIWSSOnp21mi9s97KVaFSOb081y8sqAzvK2ShruNFJx6g&oe=6AB01288)
